Founded in January 2019, Huizhou KejinTaiji New Technology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Institute of Modern Physics (IMP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, with a registered capital of RMB 50 million. The company specializes in the R&D, design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance of accelerator equipment.

KejinTaiji serves as the key manufacturing partner for two major national science facilities — the High Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility (HIAF) and the Accelerator-Driven sub-Critical System (CiADS) — leveraging the IMP's world-class expertise in nuclear technology and applications.

The company's new production base in Huidong Industrial Transfer Park covers 33,338 m² of land with 27,100 m² of built area and a total investment of RMB 252 million. Upon completion, it will have the capacity to produce 1 heavy-ion cancer therapy system, 300 high-performance electromagnets, 50 superconducting products, 50 vacuum devices, and 50 non-standard experimental systems annually.
