Large Gantry Machining
The gantry fleet handles large non-standard structures and complete research assemblies — the primary equipment for oversized parts such as magnet cores and vacuum chambers.
Vertical & Multi-axis Machining
Five-axis mill-turn, vertical and horizontal centres cut complex surfaces and high-precision mating faces, supporting micrometre-class parts such as four-vane RFQ cavities.
CNC Turning
CNC lathes turn rotationally symmetric parts — large-diameter flanges, rings and shafts.
Brazing
Hydrogen-protected and vacuum brazing furnaces join copper and dissimilar metals under a reducing atmosphere or vacuum — the key process for vacuum-tight copper cavity and chamber joints.
Precision Metrology
A coordinate measuring machine and precision granite tables close the loop on dimensional and geometric tolerances, completing the quality chain alongside five certified management systems.
Wire EDM
Wire EDM cuts hardened materials and complex internal profiles that milling cannot reach.
